Hiking

The week before kayaking, we went hiking on the Rubicon Trail. The trail has gorgeous views of the lake - here's a picture of my friend Renae and me. I wanted a picture with Mark too but he wouldn't pose for the camera (surprise). The lake was smokey that day too. The picture was taken with Mark's Blackberry instead of the good camera so it's a little fuzzy.

Kayaking

Mark & I went kayaking at Emerald Bay with the church youth - it was the first time either of us had done it. It was a lot of fun. The air was a little smokey but other than that it was a nice day. I got sunburned quite a bit even though I applied and reapplied sunscreen!

We kayaked to Fannette Island and got out and walked around the island. I took the trail up to the tea house but it seemed to turn into a rock climbing trail so I turned around - I got a pretty close look though. Mark made it all the way up.

We're Expecting!

We're so excited to be expecting a baby. These are ultrasound pictures of Baby T at 14 weeks. We like the first one of the tiny little fingers! The baby was pretty squirmy during the ultrasound. Due date is January 1st.
